Thank you for listing your talent on Seniorplaylist.com, adding even more entertainment and activity variety for seniors to enjoy!
How much does a listing cost?
That depends on where you live and/or entertain/conduct an activity. If you live within a 50-mile radius of or serve senior facilities in any of the markets listed below, you'd pay a $50 listing fee that would be up for automatic renewal in 1 year. (You can request cancellation of your listing within 180 days (via email or phone) and be refunded up to $25 (i.e., half of the listing period.)
If you live or serve elsewhere, you can be listed for free until/unless there are enough list members serving your market to warrant active promotion of the site to your local Activity Directors (at which time you'd be notified of a 2 month grace period after which the fee would be due if you want to keep your listing on the site.)
Those serving or living within a 50-mile radius of the following markets pay a $50 one-year listing fee:
Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill, ("The Triangle Area of...") NC
Virginia Beach, VA
New York, NY/Newark, NJ
Just want to contribute? Wonderful! Much appreciated! Simply click on the Paypal.me link here just as you would to pay for a listing.

Here's a glimpse into the work that is done behind-the-scenes on list members' behalf and other elements that play into Seniorplaylist.com's daily functions:
the time and effort involved in promoting Seniorplaylist.com to those who plan senior entertainment and activities in your community;
follow-up calls and emails to the same, encouraging them to check out their local listings;
the exposure you have through your listing(s) to those who do search the site in your area (after learning of it from me or through other means) for performers or activity providers to book at senior places (and possibly at other venues who could pay you more);
the listings, themselves, all of which will now include (for those who wish to have them) a video, photo, link to your website, etc., even those who currently have a 'Volunteer Only' type of listing and who will continue to volunteer their program for free
the costs of producing printed material to give to site users and potential list members
the costs of exhibiting in person at Activities Professionals' conferences and events and/or rates charged exhibitors for the option of sending sufficient printed materials to be included among hand-outs to attendees
travel time and expenses and actual time spent to exhibit at said conferences and other networking events to promote the site and encourage its use
host server, DNS and SSL costs and time spent on upgrading, migrating, and maintaining the site and in getting help from tech support
fees paid to web admins and for tech support packages for website issues I cannot fix myself (=90% or more of the time)
licenses, taxes and fees inherent in any business venture
advertising costs (apart from printed promotional material previously mentioned)
networking time spent on industry-related social media groups and discussions, like LinkedIn and Facebook pages, and in setting up profiles on other pertinent sites
time spent assisting list members with their listings, such as entering the proper YouTube video code, uploading photos, making editing changes, answering questions, etc.
About Pricing: The list members of this site are sensitive to the typically leaner budgets of 90% of the senior residential market and intend their rates to apply strictly to those settings. All others planning private, corporate, school and community-wide events, and any other venues (including seniors' communities such as CCRCs and Active Adult/50s+ Communities) who can afford to pay the list member's regular market rate should expect to pay the regular rate, which would be disclosed to you when contacted, rather than the rates listed here. Thank you for understanding and respecting their wishes.
Activity Professionals: List member video clips, weblinks, ratings and reviews on their programs (viewable through the 'Video and read more' link) and other material as submitted have been provided as helpful screening tools intended to complement, rather than replace, the conduct of your standard due diligence procedures, for which Seniorplaylist.com assumes no responsibility.
